Michelle Yarn has spent nearly a decade working in the television industry, both on camera and behind the scenes. Today, she balances her time in the studio as the host of Emotional Mojo with her time enjoying life as a wife and new mom.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, she quickly rose up the TV ranks, earning her merit by producing female friendly discussions and serving as an occasional field reporter. She landed a production job at the nationally syndicated morning news show, The Daily Buzz and eventually worked her way up to Senior Producer. During her time at The Daily Buzz, Michelle oversaw production and writing of all three hours of the show. And one of her career highlights on-air included a trip to Oahu, Hawaii to cover the grand opening of Aulani: A Disney Resort and Spa. She has also interviewed celebrities such as Sandra Bullock, Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher, Boyz II Men, Gene Simmons, Wilson Phillips and Keanu Reeves.
From there she began contributing on-air by writing, reporting, producing and hosting a female friendly lifestyle segment for its partner, GalTime.com. Since then, she’s contributed stories online and in print publications covering everything from news, entertainment, weddings, fashion and food. Her articles and features have been featured on websites such as Yahoo! Shine, HeadDrama, Galtime, Perfect Wedding Guide, My City Eats and The Knot.
