The kitchen is where we spend most of our time, so if you’re feeling like it could use some “oomph” here are some ideas to help you add some serious style to your kitchen.
Paint the Cabinets
Want to instantly change the look of your cabinets? Give them a new coat of paint. A quick search online will show you hundreds of tutorials and pictures for inspiration! It’s amazing what a transformation a coat of paint can provide. And there are so many options, from a nice, sleek modern black, to a more rustic, distressed look. The possibilities are endless.
Upgrade Your Appliances
Upgrade your appliances to give the heart of the home a major refresh! And if you want a timeless look, something that will always be stylish, who better to help you out than renowned designer Nate Berkus?
Yup! LG Studio, the high-end kitchen appliance line from LG, has brought Nate on as Artistic Advisor and as you can see, he’s inspired a high-end, pro-style look for all the appliances, so they can easily integrate into your space to help you create a forever kitchen that you will absolutely love, both now and even 10 years from now.
And LG recently unveiled some new additions to its Nate Berkus-inspired suite of LG Studio appliances. Of course, they each offer the perfect combo of sophisticated aesthetic and high performance.
The enhancements to the line include a 42-inch built-in refrigerator, this side by side fridge has so much space! Plus easy moving door bins and LG’s “slim space plus” ice system to save room and maximize storage space.
There’s also single, and double-wall electric ovens. They feature a sleek design including stainless steel knobs with SmoothTouch™ glass controls on the control panel as well as a brilliant blue oven interior. Of course, there’s LG’s exclusive 4-Mode True Convection technology, Gliding rack system, and hidden bake features, too.
And complete the look with the new professional grade gas cooktop. I love the powerful, dual-stacked center burner, it also has two twin burners with a matching griddle and a separate simmer burner. Just think how nice it’ll be when you’re cooking to be able to go from boiling to warming all at once.
You can find this new suite of LG Studio appliances in retail stores nationwide! Visit LGStudio.com for more design inspiration.
Sophisticated Storage
The third idea to help you upgrade the look of your kitchen, add sophisticated storage. Ditch the old ugly packaging and cumbersome boxes, and find functional, but creative ways to store and display your kitchen items. For instance, you could stick to one aesthetic, like all white, for a more cohesive look. Or think outside the fruit bowl, an apothecary jar makes a beautiful display for fruits and veggies. Just have fun with it!
Those are some easy ways to give your kitchen a major upgrade that will stand the test of time. Do you have any more tips or suggestions for those looking to spruce up their kitchen on a budget? If so, tweet me at @MichelleYarn.
