Halloween is a fun time of year, from costumes to candy what more can a kid ask for? Today I will share five family-friendly Halloween costumes for your family to be inspired by this spooky season!
I can’t believe we are already in the middle of October! Time is going by so fast and the Holidays are quickly approaching. Halloween is such a fun time of year because who doesn’t want to dress up as their favorite character and get free candy!? This is a kid’s dream, and if you are like me you take advantage of the opportunity and get your whole family to dress alike! Today I will share five Halloween costumes you can wear with your family.
Since the new movie came out, Star Wars costumes have been an option for our family this year, and since I am the only girl or should I say “princess” in the family it works out that I can be Princess Leia! You have the options of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. It’s so fun to see who each family member decides to be, and to see how their costumes come to life!

Alice in Wonderland
If you are a creative family, you will love to dress up like the characters in Alice in Wonderland! From Alice to the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts, to Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and even Cheshire Cat you can have fun dressing up in quirky outfits and face paint. The good thing about choosing these costumes is that if you have a big family, there will be plenty of options for them to choose from.

Peter Pan is such a classic and timeless story. Like Alice In Wonderland if you have a big family, choosing these characters as costumes can help your family have plenty options to choose from. Characters like Peter Pan, Hook, Wendy and her brothers, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Boys there’s a lot of fun to go around!

My two boys will love this idea! Choose a superhero and be that! It’s so fun to watch them get into the role, they will probably not stop jumping and running and skipping the whole night, and with a little candy, their dreams have been made a reality! I am sure there are plenty of superhero costumes at a store, but you also have the option of being creative and making them at home.
