Fall brings a perfect weather for a picnic! Here are tips to guarantee a cozy time with your friends and family.
Tis the season to spend more time outside enjoying this amazingly cool weather! Finally, it is getting decent enough for us to enjoy being outside. I love spending time with my family and friends, and when the weather is perfect enough we enjoy picnics and park visits. A picnic is a fun way to enjoy some food, drinks, and great company so today I will share tips on how you can plan the perfect picnic this fall!
Picnic-Friendly Food
The most picnic-friendly foods for me have been light, fresh finger foods. Think seasonal fruits, veggies and a nice selection of cheeses. Maybe a fresh baguette, too! This type of menu is easy to transport and enjoy plus you can just graze throughout the day.
Refreshments
Another picnic must have are fruits and wine refreshing beverage! It’s low-calorie and light and easy to drink. One of my favorites is imported by Marie Brizard Wine and Spirits America’s blend of fruits and wine! They use real fruit juice and infusions with no fruit syrup, so it’s a guilt free drink with less sugar than a classic cola and less alcohol than the classic wine with 7 to 8.5% alcohol.
They come in several natural options like Cherry Rose, a delicious blend of rosé wine and cherry juice that delivers natural and delicately sweet notes. The Grapefruit Rose is a blend of rosé wine and grapefruit juice with sweet and tart notes. The Strawberry Rose is a luscious blend of rosé wine and strawberry juice that gives it a sweet and refreshing touch.
Fruits and Wine are actually France’s #1 aromatized wine-based drink! It has an easy open screw top which means you don’t have to pack a bottle opener and it will stay fresh for up to a month after opening. A little secret for you ladies out there is that fruits and wine have proven to be the secret of French women to stay slim!
As long as you pack a good wine, some fruits, favorite cheeses, a cozy blanket and your loved ones you’re guaranteed to have a great time!
