Baby, It’s Cold Outside! My Christmas and New Year Vacation

Happy 2016! I’ve just spent the last two weeks doing nothing but enjoying time with family for the holidays. Chris, Jack, Charlie and I went to St. Petersburg to see family, came back to Orlando to host more family for Christmas Eve and Christmas day, then flew out to Wisconsin the next morning to spend the New Year with my sister and her family in Door County.

It’s a beautiful little area right on Lake Michigan. It. Is. COLD! The boys loved it and we got to spend some quality time with the family and with the snow! My husband Chris even took on the Polar Bear Plunge. It’s an annual event where people gather on New Year’s Day to jump not the icy, cold Lake Michigan. It’s kind of a big deal and I can’t believe he took a dip in the 25 degree water!

Now we’re back home safely and it’s time to get back to work. I can’t wait to share some of the big things in store for 2016. Professionally – I’ve got a super exciting project in the works. Personally – I’m working on getting my life in shape. Everything from my fitness, to home organization, to meal planning – I want 2016 to be the year I finally get it all together. Because as of now – the life I want to live… is living on my Pinterest page, lol. Time to make it happen y’all!
